OUCH is a high-performance trading protocol developed by NASDAQ with a focus on simplicity and ultra-low latency. Variants of OUCH are supported by many markets, in particular, a range of markets who have licensed NASDAQ technology to run their trading platforms.
The OUCH protocol is composed of logical messages passed between the OUCH host and the
client application. Each message type has a fixed message length.
